A warm welcome. I am Ewan, owner of the highly respected independent whisky merchants, Robertsons of Pitlochry which has been established in this town since 1962.
Our expertise is used to bring you more than just a whisky shop: as well as mainstream whiskies and craft gins, we specialise in Single Cask, Cask Strength scotch whiskies which are individually nosed, tasted and selected from specific casks by myself.
As a world-renowned expert in the nosing and tasting of both whisky and gin in the spirits industry, I regularly judge and sit on panels at various Scottish, British and world whisky and gin events.
Having a passion for whisky and gin, I enjoy passing on my knowledge through our regular tasting experience be it in the shop or out in various locations throughout the UK and internationally.
Donna is our Shop Manager, with many years of experience in spirits and hospitality, who brings bundles of enthusiasm and friendly banter to match her expertise.
In addition to over 20 practical years engaged in spirits, from behind the bar and in the drinks industry, Donna is a graduate of the Whisky Academy in Edinburgh in both Whisky and Gin studies.
She is also our resident expert in ‘mixology’ and in the creation of exotic cocktails with tastings and experiences to match.
Donna has an uncanny gift of pairing a particular bottle of Scotch Whisky with the right person.
