DIstilled in summer 2013 and matured for 13 years before bottling in June 2026, it draws on fourteen first-fill ex-bourbon barrels matured on the upper level of the dunnage warehouse.The barley Variety Concerto was grown in the South fields and harvested on the 2nd & 3rd of September 2011. It was then dried and stored on the farm to be malted in Alloa during the spring of 2012.
Tasting Notes:
DIstinct barley sugar, shortbreaf with warm spice notes. The nose invites sweetness, with gentle porridge oats laced with tinned peaches and a lingering honeyed apricot finish

These sixth-generation farmers reckon that they are only the third family to have farmed Daftmill in 1,000 years of existence, but it was only in 2003 that the idea of whisky making began to form in the minds of Francis Cuthbert and his brother Ian. They converted three of their buildings into a distillery in 2003 and were granted their licence two years later, making it the first member of the now burgeoning small-scale distilling movement in Scotland.
