John and Doreen Ogg loved Port na Luing, their home on the Hebridean Isle of Coll. They also enjoyed sharing a ‘noggin’ (or several!) of whisky together.
In 2005 John died. His family bought a cask of Bruichladdich whisky in his memory. Cask 359 had previously held ourbon and the Port na Luing whisky aged in it for 10 years at the Islay distillery
In July 2015 198 bottles of Port na Luing whisky were bottled at cask strength – 60.5% abv. John and Doreen would want you to enjoy a dram or two.
