Wolfburn is an independent single malt whisky distillery in Thurso, Caithness and is the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. The original Wolfburn opened here in 1821 until finally closing down in 1862. In 2013 it was reopened just a short walk from the old site and today draws its water from the same burn as the old distillery used.

Everything happens in Thurso. The spirit is double-distilled, the distillery’s own casks are filled on site, the spirit is matured in traditional whisky warehouses by the sea and bottled on site with no chill filtration and no added colour.
